Causewell Farm is a non-working farm set in four acres of land, where you will be assured of a warm welcome and a relaxing stay. Little Causewell is located next door to the owners. The Farm is surrounded by wonderful views and you are welcome to explore the field adjacent to the drive where you can enjoy views over Bude and Widemouth bay. On Mid-summers day you can watch the sun dip over the horizon into the sea from the field. For a view inland there is a fragrant arbour covered in Roses, Wisteria, Honeysuckle and everlasting Sweetpeas where you can sit and watch the sun rise in the morning if you are an early riser. The sun rise can also be seen from bed in the upstairs bedroom if you fancy a more relaxed start to the day.
Causewell Farm is situated just a little off the Atlantic highway about 4 miles south of Bude in the beautiful rolling hills of Cornwall.
From the Farm it is about 1 mile to the beach at Widemouth bay where there is a gorgeous sandy beach suitable for bathers and surfers, rock pool explorers and sandcastle builders.
There are several eateries along the Widemouth bay coast road, ranging from cafes to restaurants, and many more are to be found in Bude including many takeaways.
A little further away (about 5 miles) you will find the splendid cove of Crackington Haven which has the Coombe Barton pub overlooking the sea. The pub serves great meals (booking recommended).
Little Causewell is about an hour's drive from the Eden Project.
The Rebel Cinema, a terrific independent cinema with two screens showing the latest movies is only five minutes from the Farm - great for rainy days. (Covid permitting)
There is so much more to do here in Cornwall than we could possibly list here but you do not really have to travel to have a really good stay here. Bude has lots to offer nearby.
